Gizelle Van Der Merwe is renown for not only dreaming her dreams, but making them a reality. Nido Group International was one of these dreams and was officially established in November 2005.
 
Having conquered the need for professional Health Care Services in South Africa, Gizelle recognised the need for private health care services and training internationally. Without realising what the outcome would be, Gizelle embarked on her journey to see how Nido could make a difference in the world!
 
Strangely enough, Gizelle’s journey led her from the UK to Prague. She was overjoyed at the amount of qualified professional nurses that were working in Prague and the UK, but surprised to find that they were pursuing jobs i.e. domestic helpers as opposed to careers in their profession. The Prague Post approached Nido to become involved in the upliftment of women in the Czech Republic and this was one of Nido International’s major building blocks. We aim to train the women in private health care in South Africa and place them on their road to success in the health care industry, wherever is most suitable for them. The Nido Nursing Team is very excited to train the Czech Republic students in SA, as not only will this open doors of opportunity for the students internationally, but it is much more cost effective AND is an amazing opportunity to travel in South Africa!
 
The training programme is approved internationally and is the perfect stepping stone if you are considering nursing studies or studies in medicine. Au Pair training is part of the curriculum and we assist in placements in the USA, specifically San Fransisco.

The cost of Nido Private Health Care Training for our 3 month course is 1,500 pounds. This excludes travelling and study visa applications. Flight Centre in London will be able to assist you with your travel and accommodation arrangements to South Africa and will advise our students on the necessary procedure regarding visas.
